TRAVEL ADVISORY MESSAGE ON BEHALF OF THE SHORES OF PANAMA RESORT

Our team at The Shores of Panama Resort has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 virus updates provided by the World Health Organization, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Florida Department of Health. At this time the Resort is temporarily closed, and we are watching the governor’s mandates daily with hopes of reopening very soon. Please check back with us periodically to reserve & confirm your reservations.

If you have made your reservations through Expedia.com, Hotels.com, and/or Booking.com, please contact them directly to change your reservations to another date.
For all arrivals within the month of April and Early May that have booked directly with the property and/or website (www.shoresofpanama.com) please contact us between 9:00am - 5:00pm CST daily to change your reservations to another date.
If you are arriving anytime outside of April or Early May please refer to your confirmation paperwork from your booking
As we are keeping most of our staff employed during this pandemic, we are taking the following measures so when you return to vacation at our resort you will have no worries and just relaxation. Our call center is staffed daily from 9:00am – 5:00pm CST to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. Our housekeeping and maintenance teams are working diligently to make sure the guest rooms are ready for your return by deep cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the rooms. All public areas in the resort are being pressure washed, deep cleaned, and sanitized. As you can see our staff is working hard and when we re-open we will be here to greet you with smiling faces!

Local Updates:
- Panama City Beach public beaches have re-opened.
- Our bar, grill, and gift shops are now opened
- Restaurants are now permitted to offer outdoor dining with six feet between tables and indoor seating will be permitted at 50 percent capacity.
- City recreational sports leagues, tournaments, fields, and special events are prohibited until May 1st.
- Retail stores reopened on May 4th and will be operating at 50 percent of indoor capacity. Customers must maintain social distancing.
- Gyms and fitness centers will be allowed to open May 18.
- CDC is recommending no gathering larger than 10 people
- The Governor of the State of Florida has ordered that no new vacation rentals will be permitted until further notice.
